Overview

Glass-Bottom High-Content Screening Microplate is produced from Glass-bottom microplates for high-content screening and high-resolution imaging. We machine, finish and inspect the part under one roof, which keeps tolerances, surface quality and documentation consistent from prototype through to production quantities.

How we make it

Depending on the design we combine femtosecond laser ablation, CNC ultrasonic machining, precision dicing, optical polishing, thin-film coating and thermal or anodic bonding. A design-for-manufacturing review checks feasibility before cutting, so problems are caught on the drawing rather than on the shop floor.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Which plate formats and coverslip grades are supported?

SLAS/ANSI 6, 24, 48, 96 and 384-well formats (or a custom grid) on the standard 127.76 x 85.48 mm footprint. Coverslip grade sets the glass thickness — for example #1.5 is 0.17 mm and #1.5H is 0.17 mm held to ±0.005 mm.

Can the glass bottom be surface treated?

Yes: plasma/hydrophilic, poly-D-lysine, collagen, hydrophobic or a custom treatment, and the plate can be supplied sterile.
